The Trojans are the top team in the state until someone shows us differently.
This young Saginaw team will be tested early.

2. Flint Powers
The Chargers are back for another run at the Class B title. Pick your
poison...Shane Moreland, Pat O'Brien or Patrick Lucas-Perry. Powers should return again to the Breslin Center.

3. Saginaw Arthur Hill
The Class A title must go through the city of Saginaw. In my opinion the
Lumberjacks are the state's most underrated team.

Former Saginaw High basketball player is leaving St John's
We first announced this move on 4/6/08 (Word on the Street). Sources state that Larry Wright wants to be closer
to his family in Michigan and is considering the University of Michigan and Detroit Mercy.

defeated Detroit Pershing 90 to 71.

The Mid-Michigan Prep News announces the creation of the Mr. Mid-Michigan Basketball Award and the Miss. Mid-Michigan Basketball Award. This award
will be presented to the top senior student athlete in Boys and Girls
High School Basketball from the Mid-Michigan area.
The Mid-Michigan Prep News will accept nominations from area Mid-Michigan
High School Athletic Directors.
